A fresh donor egg cycle with EggDonors4All costs $36,900+ in agency-side fees, plus approximately $20,000 in IVF medical costs at your clinic — roughly $57,000–$62,000 all-in, including travel where required. Below is every line, what drives it, and where families overpay. We publish this because “contact us for pricing” is not a price.
Donor egg IVF cost is the total price of conceiving with donated eggs: the agency’s coordination fees, the donor’s compensation, her screening and monitoring, legal work, insurance, and your clinic’s IVF laboratory and transfer charges. EggDonors4All is a physician-associated New York egg donor agency serving the USA and Canada. All medical procedures are performed by licensed fertility clinics, whose fee schedules set the medical lines below.
| Line item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Application fee | $2,500 |
| Agency fee | $18,000 |
| Egg donor compensation | $8,000+ |
| Legal coordination between prospective parents and egg donor | $2,000+ |
| Egg donor attorney fee | $1,000+ |
| Egg donor psychological evaluation / personality assessment | $500+ |
| Egg donor insurance coverage | $450+ |
| Physician monitoring | $4,000 |
| Caregiver, day of retrieval | $450 |
| Agency-side total | $36,900+ |
Associated medical costs — approximately $20,000. All costs associated with the IVF procedures themselves are additional: medical testing, screening, laboratory work, medications, ultrasounds, and physician visits. These vary by IVF centre, and your insurance policy may cover some of them — worth checking with your carrier before you assume otherwise. Ask your fertility clinic for a complete listing, including ICSI, embryo culture, embryo transfer, and cycle medications.
Travel, where the donor must travel — approximately $5,000. This covers airfare for the donor and a travelling companion, hotel accommodation (shared room), ground transportation, and related expenses, with a $100 daily meal per diem. Receipts and invoices are submitted for reimbursement. One thing to plan for honestly: if a cycle stops midway, this amount may be incurred again on the restart. No payment plan is available for donor travel costs.
The straightforward way to reduce this line: choosing a donor who lives relatively close to you and to your fertility centre eliminates or substantially reduces travel expense. Tell your coordinator that geography matters to your budget and it will shape the search.
Frozen donor oocytes are priced per egg:
| Tier | Price per oocyte |
|---|---|
| Standard donor oocytes | $3,000 |
| Elite donor oocytes | $4,000 |
Standard donors are women with high school through college-level education. Elite donors are women with education above bachelor’s level — many hold advanced or professional degrees, including physicians, attorneys, engineers, software developers, MBAs, and graduates of highly selective universities.
Frozen oocyte pricing excludes IVF medical costs (approximately $20,000) and any clinic-specific charges. Donor compensation itself follows ASRM guidelines for time, effort, and inconvenience in all cases.
Because they are harder to recruit and scarcer to keep available — not because they are better.
Donors with advanced and professional degrees have demanding careers and high opportunity cost, and comparatively few come forward. Recruiting and maintaining availability in that category costs more, and the oocyte price reflects it. What the price does not reflect is any claim about outcomes: education is not a predictor of a child’s future, a point we make plainly on how to choose an egg donor, and we are not going to contradict ourselves on our own pricing page.
It also does not reflect anything about donor compensation. Every EggDonors4All donor is compensated under ASRM guidelines for her time, effort, and inconvenience — identical whether she has a high school diploma or a medical degree, and identical across every heritage program we run. Tiered pricing is a purchasing distinction for intended parents. It is not a ranking of women.
Frozen donor oocytes are priced per egg:
Here is the arithmetic worth running before choosing a format.
A frozen lot of 6–8 eggs costs $18,000–$24,000 at Standard pricing, or $24,000–$32,000 at Elite pricing — before any medical costs, and before thaw attrition.
A fresh cycle’s agency-side total of $36,900+ delivers the donor’s entire cohort, commonly 15–25+ eggs. At a 20-egg retrieval that is roughly $1,850 per egg, against $3,000–$4,000 per frozen egg — and the fresh figure is measured before any loss, because there is no freeze-thaw step at the egg stage.
More eggs means more embryos, more transfer attempts from one spend, and the real possibility of a sibling years later from frozen embryos rather than a second full cycle. The complete outcome evidence is at fresh vs frozen donor eggs, and the embryo funnel math at how many eggs per donor cycle.
Two things that genuinely move the number. Research clinic costs before choosing a fertility centre — the medical portion is a large share of your total, so ask each centre you are considering what it charges for IVF, medications, and transfer. Differences between centres are substantial and entirely visible if you ask. Choose a donor near you and your clinic — this reduces or eliminates the travel line and removes the risk of paying it twice on a restarted cycle.
Beyond that, financing routes — employer fertility benefits, grants, and treatment lending — are covered at donor egg IVF financing. Check your employer benefits portal first; it is where families most often find money they did not know they had.
Three patterns. Paying twice for screening because an agency matched a donor whose screening was stale or who proved unavailable — ask when a donor’s screening was last current. Unbundled fees discovered mid-journey — every fee we charge appears in the table above; ask any agency for the equivalent list in writing and time the response. Comparing sticker prices instead of cost per live birth — the frozen-versus-fresh math above is the clearest example of why the cheaper first invoice is often not the cheaper journey.

Egg donation is a process where a woman (the egg donor) provides one or several eggs (also known as oocytes) for purposes of assisted reproduction, with the eggs being fertilized in the laboratory. Once fertilized, the resulting embryos are transferred to the recipient’s uterus to initiate a pregnancy, or they can be cryopreserved (frozen) for future use.
